**Banquet Operations Manager**
AThe Banquet Operations Manager will report directly to the Head of Banquet Operations The person will need to be comfortable with busy high quality operations, managing multi tasks as well as have strong interpersonal skills. This individual will be responsible for the results of all pillars (Guest Satisfaction, Financial, Colleague, Health and Safety) in Banquets.

What you will be doing:
- Ensuring exceptional customer service. Ensuring that services meet customer specifications (anticipate), responds promptly and setup based on BEO.
- Finding creating solutions and proactively solving problems in order to meet a demanding client base and adjust service to suit guests' requests, personalize to meet needs.
- Empower employees to provide excellent customer service.
- Adhere to all budget guidelines that are established for each event.
- Manages department controllable expenses to achieve or exceed budgeted goals.
- Maintain records for inventory, labor cost, beverage cost, etc.
- Leads shifts and actively participates in the servicing of events.
- Projects supply needs for the department.
- Ensures accurate customer billing for banquet events.
- Ensures coordination and execution throughout the event.
**Qualifications**:
Your experience and skills include:
- Experience in hotel food and beverage operations, 5 years' experience in Banquet management in a luxury property preferred.
- University/College degree in a related discipline preferred.
- International experiences an asset.
- Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with all levels of employees.
- Service oriented with an eye for details.
- Ability to work effectively and contribute in a team.
- Good presentation and influencing skills.
- Multicultural awareness and able to work with people from diverse cultures.
- Flexible and able to embrace and respond to change effectively.
- Ability to work independently and has good initiative under dynamic environment.
- Self-motivated and energetic.
- Must be a highly organized person with strong planning skills.
- Analytical skills, strength as a developer and a leader of others are essential.
- International experience an asset
