The Bar Manager (Japanese Fine Dining) is responsible for overseeing the operations of the bar in a high-end Japanese fine dining establishment. Reporting to the General Manager, the Bar Manager will be in charge of managing the bar staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining inventory, and creating innovative cocktail menus that complement the restaurant's cuisine. This role requires strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of Japanese spirits and mixology, and a passion for delivering an exceptional dining experience.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Oversee the daily operations of the bar, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
- Develop and implement bar policies and procedures to maintain high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
- Train and supervise bar staff, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional performance.
- Create and update the bar menu, incorporating innovative and unique Japanese-inspired cocktails and beverages.
- Manage inventory and stock levels, conducting regular stock checks and placing orders as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless coordination between the bar and dining areas.
- Monitor and analyze sales and revenue data, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Bar Manager in a Japanese fine dining establishment.
- Extensive knowledge of Japanese spirits, sake, and cocktails, as well as the ability to create innovative and unique drink menus.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to effectively train and motivate a team of bartenders and bar staff.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to provide a personalized and memorable experience for guests.
- Knowledge of Japanese culture and etiquette, with the ability to effectively communicate and interact with Japanese-speaking guests.
