Market Focus:

- The Building and Infrastructure (B&I) industry is set to recover post-pandemic and see a robust 6-7% growth through this decade, with a slew of ongoing and upcoming high value building and infrastructure projects. B&I represents a major growth segment for Dow, with a strong foundation, representing >20% of our current revenue in the country, supported by a broad portfolio of products and a growing customer base for all Dow businesses. As a result, we have an opportunity to mobilize Team Dow in Indonesia to collaborate and jointly engage key customers and value chain partners to maximize growth.
- Indonesia is gearing up to play a significant role in the EV battery ecosystem. Dow Indonesia would like to explore potential opportunities in this segment by engaging various OEMs and Tiers through the Dow MobilityScience platform.

Indonesia Growth Project Execution:

- Under the 'go local, go specialty' strategy, the SEA regional growth pillar emphasizes accelerating Indonesia's growth. Execution of plans currently being developed requires strong engagement and coordination with various businesses, functions, and the steering committee team.

Role Description:
This role also requires monitoring new developments ranging from business and platform strategies, cross-regional transplants and opportunities for Dow Indonesia, external market and regulatory changes that might impact our operations.

On the SEA/Indonesia Growth Project, you will play a critical in executing potential hiring plans per business needs, developing, and implementing training plan, providing mentoring and guidance to work through various Dow processes and systems, and tracking progress. You will also closely work with business leaders to understand local capabilities and supply needs, develop plans, and engage steering committee as needed for support to remove barriers.

You will report to the Country leader and work closely with the regional BD leader. The job scope includes but is not limited to:
1. Engaging Customers and Value Chain Players: e.g., Infra. project owners, general contractors, auto OEMs:

- Develop local contacts (existing and new), identify opportunities that benefit multiple Dow businesses
- Mobilize cross-biz/platform teams to identify and share suitable Dow solutions
- Understand and prioritize customer, value chain partner requirements; align needs to proper Dow businesses
- Manage follow-up actions and lead regular project reviews and provide progress highlights to the country, regional BD and steering committee team
- Identify and enable synergies between businesses; promote collaboration; manage conflicting interests when necessary
- Seek new opportunities from the platform team to develop a strong project pipeline
- Elevate key hurdles/challenges and seek support as needed.

2. Track Market Trends and Competitive Landscape
- Identify potential external forums for cross-business, platform participation. Work closely with country PA to promote Dow solutions and technologies in Indonesia. Build relationships with key external stake holders and expand network.
- Keep a tab on competitive activities, share learning and best practices to businesses, regional BD and platform teams

3. Identify Potential New Growth Opportunities
- Map Dow businesses, solutions, proven or new to country (but proven in another region) and establish fit. Propose cross-business participation plan.

4. Drive implementation of country growth project efforts
- Work closely with business and functional leaders to develop ideas around lab capabilities, external manufacturing/toll, internal asset expansion plans to support long-term local supply needs.

Key performance metrics include:

- Market assessment & participation strategy
- New partnerships (# of new customers, value chain partners),
- Successful completion/launch of new projects
- Collaboration aspects: Close communication and partnership with local sales and marketing managers, regional business leaders

Skill Set requirements:

- Proven business development background
- Strong track record in building relationships with local customers and value chain partners.
