We are seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development Lending Specialist to join our team. As a Business Development Lending Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to drive the growth of our lending program by establishing and managing strategic partnerships with borrowers and/or lenders. You will play a crucial role in expanding our network, increasing loan volume, and ensuring the success of our lending operations.
**Responsibilities**:
Identify and evaluate potential partnerships through market research, data analysis, and industry trends.
Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to attract and onboard borrowers and lenders to our lending program.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including borrowers, lenders, financial institutions, and other relevant industry players.
Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to develop compelling value propositions and marketing materials tailored to borrowers and lenders.
Conduct meetings, presentations, and negotiations with potential partners to communicate the benefits and features of our lending program.
Develop and implement effective onboarding processes for borrowers and lenders, ensuring a smooth and positive experience.
Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes in the lending space to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
Analyze and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to borrower and lender acquisition, loan volume, and platform utilization.
Collaborate with the risk and compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and maintain a high level of risk management.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in lending and fintech to drive innovation and improve our platform's competitiveness.
Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, or a related field.
Proven track record in business development, partnership management, or a related role within the lending or fintech industry.
Strong understanding of lending concepts, platforms, and regulations.
Demonstrated ability to identify, evaluate, and secure borrower and lender partnerships, resulting in increased loan volume and revenue growth.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with borrowers, lenders, and other stakeholders.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with the capacity to analyze market data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
Experience in developing and implementing successful business development strategies and campaigns.
Proficiency in using CRM software, data analytics tools, and other business development technologies.
Self-motivated and target-driven, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of regulatory frameworks governing lending, risk management, and compliance.
