This position _**_BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT_**_ _**_MANAGER_**_ is responsible driving growth and expansion of the company, by identifying potential business streamline, and assist clients and potential clients of solving their issue._

**SCOPE OF WORK**:

- The _**_BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT_**_ _**_MANAGER_**_ main roles are:_
- Develop business strategy through knowledge of industry and analysis of ongoing business opportunities.
- Identify and contact new potential customer in order to generate new business.
- Maintain relationships with existing clients and secure new business from these organisations.
- Write competitive proposals and tender responses.
- Develop innovative pricing solutions.
- Gather intelligence on customers and competitors.

**_ Day-to-day activities of the BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER_**_ _**_are:_**
- _ Identify and contact new potential customers in order to generate new business._
- _ Maintain relationships with existing clients and secure new business form these organisations._
- _ Identify client issues requiring resolution_
- _ Oversee the writing of competitive proposals and tender responses including forming competitive teams._
- _ Develop innovative solutions tailored to client's requirement._
- _ Conduct competitor analysis_
- _ Conduct market sector analysis_
- _ Analyse wins/losses to continually improve performance_
- _ Become expert in area of responsibility_
- _ Identify risk and/or opportunities for business growth when undertaking review of business development activities._
- _ Work with Operation department to ensure proposals and bid responses are workable and achievable._
- _ Work with Culture and Performance, Finance and Clinical departments to ensure competitive and profitable proposals are submitted._

- _ Proven management skills and a demonstrated record of achievement, related to the management of human, financial, and strategic resources, in an executive position within a highly diverse organization._
- _ Demonstrated successful performance in the management of a diverse organization._
- _ Demonstrated ability to determine and achieve corporate goals._
- _ Demonstrated capacity to establish and develop effective relationships with customers; through the determination of needs, management of processes and delivery standards with respect to developing bids and proposals._
- _ Sound knowledge and understanding of the legal and business framework within which the company operates, or the capacity to quickly identify and respond to those requirements._
- _ Superior communication, consultative, interpersonal, and negotiating skill Demonstrable ability to project manage successful large scale tenders._
- _ Accountability for tender responses/proposals and clients_
- _ High level analytical skills, including ability to analyse requirements._
- _ Capacity to develop and implement growth strategy, including working with potential industry partners._
- _ Ability to identify and articulate innovative project initiatives_
- _ Ability to work within a team and communicate effectively with other departments within the company._
- _ Excellent written communication skills, including professional tender writing skills_
- _ Excellent project management skills._
- _ Ability to communicate with and engage people effectively to achieve a result_

- _ Demonstrated high levels of personal integrity and ethics of management practice._
- _ Demonstrated commitment to the maintenance of ongoing knowledge of contemporary management issues and practices, particularly as they relate to individual executive effectiveness_
- _ Proficiency in English_
- _ Experience in healthcare industry._
- _ Preferable knowledge of healthcare, mining and oil and gas industry._
- _ Preferable experience in working with or for multinational company_
- _ Preferable competency in excel spreadsheets._
