**Responsibilities**
- Greet customers as they arrive and provide a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.
- Deliver excellent customer service and hospitality.
- Operate POS machines and handle cash, EDC, QRIS, and other payment transactions.
- Process returns and exchanges.
- Process gift cards, coupons, and other promotional offers
- Upsell and cross-sell available products including retail and merchandise.
- Handle customer inquiries regarding store policies, hours, products, and services
- Ensure pricing accuracy and update prices as needed
- Complete end-of-shift reports and reconcile cash drawers with sales transactions
- Maintain accurate cash drawer balances and reconcile at the end of each shift.
- Answer customer questions and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including but not limited to cleaning the POS, cash drawer, printer, and EDC machine
- Assist in the stocking and replenishing of merchandise when necessary.
- Keep up-to-date on new products, promotions, and sales
- Follow all safety and security procedures, including proper cash handling and reporting suspicious activity to management.
**Requirements**:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role preferred.
- Able to perform basic inventory management tasks.
- Familiar with POS systems and other computerized sales tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Speak English at a conversational level.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills and proficiency in operating cash registers.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Able to join immediately.
- Currently living in Surabaya is preferred.
**Salary**: Up to Rp3,000,000 per month
