About the Company:
Our client is a large local private group within maritime & logistic industrial sector. As part of their business growth, they are currently looking for high calibre CFO professionals to report to board in managing day to day operational and partake on any corporate finance related matters.
Job Responsibilities:
- The CFO is responsible for the financial management of the organisation.
- Managing the financial reporting for the organisation. This includes monthly financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, 5 year financial plans and all statutory financial reporting
- Providing sound financial support and insights to enable CEO to make critical business decisions
- Presentation of financial results and insights to the business investor and board
- Play a key role in the formulation of the business's strategy
- Managing and overseeing the taxation affairs of the organisation and liaising with the external tax firm for specialist advice
- Managing and overseeing the cash flow of the company and ensuring it has the appropriate treasury controls
- Managing and overseeing the company's banking and borrowing arrangements (fund for fund)
- Managing relationships with Investors
- Managing and overseeing the company's financial systems
Key Requirements:
- Previously was part of or led an operational or finance function within a fast-growing company
- Want to work autonomously and lead in an organisation.
- Have a history in strategy beyond just finance and operations, you can see the big picture.
- Have deep understanding and passion in financial modelling.
- Have shown that you can go above and beyond what is expected.
- A plus side if you have been on the investment side of things VC or PE.
- Have worked with financial team at a global scale and be part of the top leadership team.
