Influx is looking to hire a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) with experience in developing information security strategies, programs of work, and risk management. You will be responsible for protecting Influx from information security risks through the development, implementation, and maintenance of our security program (policies, procedures, and standards).
This person will serve as the primary point of contact for all information & data security-related issues. You will work closely with the senior management team to ensure that Influx's information security goals align with its overall business objectives with 3 key objectives as follow:
Enhance Influx's cyber security. Increase clients' confidence through Influx information & data security. New value creation through added cybersecurity products and/or services. It is a 100% work-from-home opportunity with occasional team meetups and other local events with other employees nearby!
What we're looking for 8+ years of working experience in the IT security industry. 5+ years of executive or management-level experience in systems security. Strong understanding of IT governance, security and risk management. Exceptional written and verbal skills in English. Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science or a related field. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Commercially astute with a proactive approach to managing risk, with experience in complex commercial and government contracts. Strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities and adaptability to technological advancements. Open-mindedness, and the ability and willingness to work with people from various cultures and ways of life. Bonus Point Additional Cybersecurity certification (e.g., CISSP, GSEC, CCISO) is highly regarded. Experience with governance and compliance frameworks such as ISO27001, SOC2.
