**About the Role**:
As our Head of Risk (CRO), you will shape and lead our risk management efforts. This pivotal role focuses on identifying and mitigating risks and representing Honest's interests to lenders and regulators. You'll play a key role in ensuring we operate within the regulated financial sectors, including Credit Cards, Banking, and Multifinance, with a clear mandate to support and steer the company through its risk landscape.
**Responsibilities**:
- ** Regulatory Compliance and Representation**: Ensure adherence to Indonesian and international financial regulations. Act as a key representative for the company with lenders and regulators, leveraging your expertise to navigate and comply with the legal and regulatory landscape.
- ** Partnership with lenders**: Ability to work with lenders to effectively champion the company's risk management perspective.
- ** Risk Identification and Assessment**: Lead initiatives to identify risks across operational, financial, strategic, compliance, and reputational domains. Develop a clear understanding of Honest's risk environment to anticipate and mitigate vulnerabilities.
- ** Risk Mitigation and Management**: Craft and implement comprehensive risk management strategies to fortify the company against threats. Collaborate across functions to integrate risk management seamlessly into the fabric of our operations.
- ** Risk Monitoring and Reporting**: Design and maintain systems for ongoing risk evaluation. Communicate critical risk insights and updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- ** Crisis Management**: Formulate and enact crisis management protocols to address and mitigate emergent risks swiftly and effectively.
- ** Cultural Leadership**: Instill a culture of risk awareness and proactive management at all organizational levels through targeted communication and training initiatives.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees or professional certifications (e.g., MBA, FRM, PRM, CFA) are preferred.
- A solid foundation in risk management gained through experience in regulated financial industries (Banking, Multifinance, Insurance, Pension Funds).
- Direct growth within risk functions is ideal but not strictly necessary.
- Ability to effectively champion the company's risk management perspective to lenders and regulatory bodies.
- Proven capability in crafting and executing risk management strategies within complex financial ecosystems.
- Fluency in English is required; international experience is a plus.
- Exceptional analytical, leadership, and communication skills, with a track record of fostering risk-aware cultures and engaging with high-level stakeholders.
