And of course, we are always looking for talented people to help us have a positive impact on our industry and beyond!**About the role****Key responsibilities include**- Drive BC Excellence Culture at Site- Actively support the efforts to shape BC operational excellence to facilitate cost reduction, revenue, and improvement opportunities.- Inculcate continuous improvement (CI) mindset through deploying the CI tools, Business Process Management, Change Management, and Design Thinking practices throughout the business unit supported.- Identify and quantify the opportunities within the functional area, plan for and coordinates the execution of the deliverables, and track and report on the progress realized by the department/workstream, in terms of installed deliverables, behaviors of members of the department, and operational results.- Evaluate and recommend new process procedures to optimize the OEE performance of the assets and to improve manufacturing techniques.- Reviews and manages the OEE data of the factory assets to ensure it is always accurate at the source.- Pareto OEE data to accurately identify the top improvement opportunities.- Support to reduce lead times, implementation/commissioning services, and maintenance support of manufacturing processes and equipment to improve efficiency, cost-effectiveness, safety, and product quality in the production streams.- Work in peer with the Site Manager and closely connect with the Regional CI Manager in driving BC Excellence projects for the Site.- Lead CI Initiatives- To coordinate and lead key projects for improvement across all levels of the organization which may include supervising several teams directly or collaborating with managers to re-engineer processes.- Formulates procedures, specifications, and prepares manufacturing process work instructions and standard operating procedures, and provides training to the shop floor.- Define a business case for a department, be able to specify the detailed planning in the function of the findings and site specifics, organize and coordinate the team members from the site so that actions and deliverables are realized.- Implement, audit, and sustain the 5s program for the factory's assets.- Work with individual departments to develop strategies to improve and track MUV (Material Usage Variance).- Participate in problem-solving activities, and daily GEMBA Team board, and assist in the daily quality operations as it relates to CI processes.- Supports the implementation of best practices and latest technologies in equipment, tooling, automation, and product/feature inspection which include design, installation, testing, documentation, validation, support, and maintenance- Provide Mentorship- Train, coach, and support all levels of the assigned department in implementing the new way of working and act as change manager to deal with change management issues.- Be a mentor for the facilitators in the team and leads by example for both CI members and the team members from the facility.- Be a representative of the Barry Callebaut CI methodology and as such, always shows exemplary behavior towards the internal customer.- Has a full understanding of the Continuous Improvement methodology, the tools, and technics, to ensure objectives of the departments get met. Daily coaching and support of all levels of the functional department.- Coordinate workshops and team training, openly sharing their guidance and technical expertise and ensuring that learning resources are widely available.**About you**:- Bachelor / Master Degree in Engineering or general technical field.- 5+ years of experience in lean, TQM, six sigma, or similar Continuous Improvement environments. Hands-on in spearheading both the planning and implementation stages of multiple projects. Experienced in leading cross-functional teams to implement cost savings projects across plants. Strong analytical skills using tools such as statistics, downtime tracking, mechanical history, and project planning to identify opportunity areas.- Own the Barry Callebaut methodology of Continuous Improvement.- Master all elements of change manage
