Key Responsibilities:
- Monthly sales, costs and overheads analysis vs forecast- Monthly P&L reporting- Quarterly Forecast and yearly Budget preparation including Product Groups, overheads, and advances- Mid-month Input, output and margin reporting- Develop and update procedures for role- Regular projects reviews completed including Milestone Billing, margins and WIP- Contract reviews- Ensure settlement process in SAP, for projects, are completed without errors- Projects review completed with Estimates to Complete- Weekly meetings with GM's, Project Managers, and Head of Finance to update business update- Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
- Education : Three (3) to five (5) years' of prior experience in a Commercial Accounting role with the ability to analyze data and provide constructive commentary to management and commercial experience with contract reviews. Tertiary qualifications in Accounting.- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals or technical procedures.- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and customers.- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.-
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.- Intermediate to advanced MS Office Suite, particularly Excel. Knowledge of SAP preferred.- has a CPA/CA or in the process of completing it.
