**Activities and Responsibilities**:
Job Summary

As a Communications Lead for Indonesia, you will be empowered to create and execute our local market communications strategy. You will oversee all internal and external communications, play a key role in building, protecting, and enhancing Takeda's corporate reputation and drive both long
- and short-term activities that align to the business objectives.

**Key responsibilities and accountabilities**:

- Develops and implements the country overall communication strategies and campaigns aligned with Global and MCO strategies and guidelines, which linked to the core objectives of the business for internal and external audiences.
- Builds and maintains impactful partnerships with internal stakeholders to develop, coordinate and implement strategic communications to meet business objectives.
- Devises comprehensive and effective communications strategies to mitigate risk and preparation of issues/crisis management, including leading the coordination of issues/crisis management at country level.
- Defines and drives innovative and integrated communications programs relevant to external stakeholders including healthcare professionals, media, social media influencers, patient groups/society, community groups to positively impact public health in line with Takeda's vision.
- Overseeing executive communications programs that create an opportunity to showcase the broad expertise of Takeda Indonesia leadership team internally and externally.
- Main liaison with PR and creative agencies to ensure that Takeda's core messages, brand essence and the organization's value propositions are promoted both internally and externally to relevant audiences.
- Oversees organization's business communications and industry issues and recommend appropriate counsels from a communication perspective.
- This role is also responsible for developing and managing content for all internal and external channels related to Takeda with the aim to ensure consistent brand tone and messaging.
- Responsible to plan and implement executive engagements and corporate events such as town hall meetings, company meetings and ad-hoc corporate events.
- Oversees the creation and implementation of the organization's CSR objectives and aligns with Leadership Team. Drive impactful corporate social responsibility programs in partnership with HR and relevant functions.

**Job Specification**:
Education and Experiences
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism/Communications/ Public Relations or equivalent.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Corporate Communications and/or Public Relations, preferably in pharmaceutical industry.
- In-house and PR/Communications agency background is preferred.
- Extensive experiences across a wide range of markets and cultures will be preferred
- Experience managing Corporate Social Responsibility is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience with all types of social media.
- Experience in creation of communication plans, strategic and long term planning with a focus on results oriented execution.
- Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

Key Skills, Abilities, and Competencies
- The ability to work in a matrix environment and orchestrate across organizations, regardless of direct line-of-sight management.
- The ability to rationalize message volume and nuance messages for multiple audiences.
- A strong communicator themselves, in both small and large group settings.
- Good knowledge of all aspects of communications including executive positioning, internal communication, media relations, product communication, investor relations, crisis communication and project management
- Strong relationship with media
- Experience working patient advocacy group and new media
- Up to date on trends in consumer engagement, digital activation and media to ideate innovative approaches to reach consumers
- High levels of energy, drive and commitment, combined with excellent written and verbal communication skills (presentations) with excellent English proficiency
- Possess proven leadership and motivational skills with a passion for excellence and a constant desire to innovate and improve.
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the agility to respond to new and changing requirements based on both a market and company environment.
- Ability to negotiate and build consensus among various parties is important
- Pragmatic but with attention to details, result oriented, motivated, reliable and trustworthy
- Ability to deliver in high pressure situations and with short deadlines
