Yayasan Inisiatif Perubahan Akses menuju Sehat (IPAS) Indonesia, is a local foundation works as affiliation of Ipas global so that women and girls have improved sexual and reproductive health and rights through enhanced access to and use of comprehensive reproductive health care including contraception.
Position Purpose
Under the supervision of the Community Access and Mobilization (CAM) Team Leader/Advisor, the Community Access Officer is responsible to contribute to the successful implementation of multiyear project on comprehensive service for victim of sexual violence in Central Java. This position will deeply engage in project co-creation with women and girls, implementing feminist monitoring and evaluation, and ensuring participatory lesson documentation across the life of the project.
S/he collaborates closely with the Community Access and Mobilization (CAM) Unit that partner with local organization in engaging women, girls, and other actors to raise awareness, strengthen skills and creating safe and enabling environment to access comprehensive reproductive health services for victim of sexual violence.
The Community Access Officer - GBV reports to the Community Access and Mobilization (CAM) Team Leader/Advisor, and s/he will need to coordinate with relevant units and other staffs in Yayasan IPAS Indonesia.
Summary of Responsibilities
Project and Program Management:
- Participate in the development and implementation of the GBV project's detailed implementation plan (DIP) in Central Java.
- Coordinate co-designing activities with relevant actors, particularly women and girls in targeted communities.
- Coordinate the preparation and implementation of activities relevant with the DIP and ensure its high-quality execution. This includes but not limited to ToR development and coordination with Yayasan IPAS Indonesia support team.
- Be active in regular project update to maintain and improve quality project implementation in health facilities and communities.
- Conduct regular project monitoring, document it, and submit the report timely to the Community Access and Mobilization (CAM) Team Leader/Advisor.
- Represent the project in day to day coordination with key stakeholders in Central Java.
M&E
- Complete relevant documents and products in the designated portal (for instance in Luna and Terra)
- Actively participate in designing, co-creating, and implementing feminist M&E.
Technical Assistance:
- Conduct day-to-day monitoring of GBV project implementation in Central Java by sub-grantees and consultants.
- Under the supervision of the Community Access and Mobilization (CAM) Team Leader/Advisor and coordination with other units, ensure technical advice and support are implemented for sub-grantees to ensure quality delivery of program implementation.
Reporting:
- Contribute to report preparation for donors and other stakeholders, including data and narrative inputs
Finance:
- Understand the overall Finance regulation in Yayasan IPAS Indonesia
- Ensure all activities comply with Yayasan IPAS Indonesia's financial regulation which includes but not limited to completion of receipts and timely reporting
HR & Administration
- Understand and comply with the HR regulation in Yayasan IPAS Indonesia
- Supervise CAM team and collaborate with other teams in Yayasan IPAS Indonesia for a successful implementation of CAM Program/projects
- Ensure all activities comply with the regulation in Yayasan IPAS Indonesia
Other
- Perform other related duties as required
Internal & External Customers / Suppliers as well as Third Parties
- Collaborate with other unit advisors, managers, project coordinators and officers for successful project implementation.
- Ensuring all project activities and its external partners comply with Yayasan IPAS Indonesia's branding strategy and design.
- Maintain mutual relationship with partners and other stakeholders through representation of Yayasan IPAS's mission to uphold women's and girls' rights to quality SRH.
- When deemed necessary, represent the project at provincial and district level coordination meeting with relevant stakeholders to ensure incorporation of Ipas objectives into the discussion.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field (health, public health, development studies, social work) with at least 5 years of experience in development work.
- Experience in working in Gender and/or SRHR issues is a must.
- Deep knowledge on Gender Based Violence, Violence Against Women and Children, and Reproductive Health issues with orientation towards improving the space for protection towards victim of sexual violence and their reproductive health and rights.
- Demonstrate deep knowledge on youth participation.
- Demonstrate skills in working with government and non-government stakeholders.
- Fluent in Indonesian and working knowledge of English.
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to travel when needed.
