- About the Role:
- A Compliance Officer's main responsibility is to ensure that the company and the business activities that are being carried out by the company comply with the prevailing laws and regulations. The duties of a Compliance Officer would include but are not limited to (i) assisting and submitting all mandatory reportings that the company needs to make; (ii) creating and maintaining adequate legal documentation of the company, e.g. licenses, permits, non-taxation state income receipts; (iii) advising the management on the compliance that has to be conducted by the company, e.g. minimum capital investment of the company, required business licenses, limited liability company's annual compliance; (iv) ensuring that the company's employees are well aware and educated on the latest regulations; (v) assisting every department in the implementation of good corporate governance; (vi) drafting, reviewing, and finalizing company's internal compliance-related policies.
What You'll Do:Maintaining and updating legal documentation of the company, e.g. Articles of Associations, Business Identification Numbers, Tax ID, business-related licenses, etc.;
-Preparing and submitting mandatory reporting in accordance with the prevailing laws and regulations, including but not limited to, BKPM's investment reporting, manpower reporting, Annual General Meeting of Shareholders of the Company, export/import activities reporting, etc.;
-Overseeing the company's internal affairs based on the latest Articles of Association and advising the management with regards to amendments or alterations required to align the company's legal documentation with the actual business activities;
Work closely with other departments to safeguard and ensure that all plans and/or business activities run by them, with or without third parties, align with the company's current licenses & permits as well as the compliance matters of said business activities;
- **Persyaratan**:
Bachelor degree in Laws with at least 3-5 years of experience in handling compliance matters;
-Adequate knowledge on compliance matters and sufficient relationship with major government institutions officers, e.g. Ministry of Law and Human Rights, BKPM, BPOM, Government Tax Agencies, etc.
-Strong interpersonal skills, team player, and abilities to work directly with the relevant government institutions; and
-Adequate research and drafting skills to determine the compliance matters that need to be conducted by the company as well as preparing all documents needed for said matters.
