Design Development: Collaborating with architects, engineers and drafters to develop detailed design concepts for construction projects, ensuring that they meet client requirements and comply with building codes and regulations
- Construction Drawings: Preparing comprehensive construction drawings and plans, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details, using computer-aided design (CAD) software like AutoCAD or Revit
- Material and Finishes Selection: Assisting in the selection of appropriate materials, finishes, and fixtures that align with the project's design and budget
- Cost Estimation Support: Collaborating with quantity surveyors to support cost estimation activities by providing accurate material quantities and design specifications
- Design Reviews: Participating in design reviews to gather feedback and make necessary revisions to the project design
- S1 (Bachelor) in Civil Engineering /Architect or a Related Field
- Experience: Prior experience in architectural or construction design is preferred. Experience with architectural design software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or 3ds Max, is highly preferred
- Proficiency in CAD Software: Strong proficiency in using CAD software, particularly AutoCAD, to create accurate and detailed construction drawings
- Team Collaboration: The ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
