Join Our Winning Team ** Your Role**: You will be a key member of a dynamic operational team that is responsible for the efficient execution of distribution in order to achieve all agreed financial + operational objectives. ** Your Responsibilities**:- To work closely with both warehouse + distribution teams, ensuring efficient transport plans are producedin line with timelines + customer requirements.- To assist in achieving key performance indicators (KPI) in the areas of cost management, productivity,customer service + profit.- You will have access to state of the art systems + tools, to continually challenge the status quo to deliverimprovements.- To support all activities relating to customer on-boarding, retention + operational excellence; collaboratingwith others as required.- To actively support new initiatives focusing on continuous improvement at all times, meeting or exceedingproductivity targets.- To contribute information when required for reporting + performance management.**Your Skills and Experiences**:- Experience working in logistics - Distribution.- Experience handling operational / drivers team- Proficiency in transportation planning methodologies, including route optimization, load consolidation, carrier selection, and scheduling.- Familiarity with supply chain management concepts and practices, including demand forecasting, inventory management, and order fulfilment processes.- Ability to utilize transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), and other relevant software for planning, tracking, and optimizing transportation activities.- Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and coordination.**About Kuehne+Nagel***With over 79.000 employees at some 1,300 locations in over 100 countries, the Kuehne+Nagel Group is one of the world's leading logistics companies.CONTACT11
