** Your Role**: You will be a key member of a dynamic operational team that is responsible for the efficient execution of distribution in order to achieve all agreed financial + operational objectives.
** Your Responsibilities**:

- To work closely with both warehouse + distribution teams, ensuring efficient transport plans are produced
in line with timelines + customer requirements.
- To assist in achieving key performance indicators (KPI) in the areas of cost management, productivity,
customer service + profit.
- You will have access to state of the art systems + tools, to continually challenge the status quo to deliver
improvements.
- To support all activities relating to customer on-boarding, retention + operational excellence; collaborating
with others as required.
- To actively support new initiatives focusing on continuous improvement at all times, meeting or exceeding
productivity targets.
- To contribute information when required for reporting + performance management.

**Your Skills and Experiences**:

- Experience working in logistics - Distribution.
- Experience handling operational / drivers team
- Proficiency in transportation planning methodologies, including route optimization, load consolidation, carrier selection, and scheduling.
- Familiarity with supply chain management concepts and practices, including demand forecasting, inventory management, and order fulfilment processes.
- Ability to utilize transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), and other relevant software for planning, tracking, and optimizing transportation activities.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and coordination.
