**Senior Contracts Analyst, GeoUnit****Purpose**The GeoUnit Senior Contracts Analyst is an intermediate level position for employees within the GeoUnit Contracts Function. The GeoUnit Senior Contracts Analyst is a member of the Contracts Team who, under the supervision of the GeoUnit Contracts Manager assists in the overall management of all Clients' service Contracts and wellsite subcontracts.The GeoUnit Senior Contracts Analyst position is a key development assignment that should lead to further responsibilities and autonomy within the Contracts Function and the GeoUnit team.**Responsibilities**- Reviews, negotiates and drafts (when and where necessary) Client Contracts.- Assists the Contracts Manager in the tender evaluation, assessment and response process to ensure that ALL Contract-related terms and conditions (whether legal or commercial) are properly addressed.- Assists the Contracts Manager to ensure that a Contract Owner is assigned to each Client Contract.- Completes a Contracts Rating Sheet (CRS) for each Contract reviewed and ensures these are electronically filed in CRM as well as in CME/CIE.- Drafts and communicates exceptions/clarifications to tender documents and RFQ´s under the supervision of the Contracts Manager.- Monitors Purchase Orders to ensure compliance with Schlumberger policies and highlights and reports deviations to the Client Contracts Risk Standard (CCRS) / Contracts Integrity Essentials (CIE).- Administers Contracts and ensures compliance with administrative procedures.- Complies and promotes compliance with the tender procedure of the GeoUnit.- Ensures compliance with Schlumberger policies, standards, procedures, and Contractual obligations.- Supports the Supply Chain team in the drafting and development of the wellsite subcontracts under the supervision of the Contracts Manager.- Manages and administers contract-related records in the CRM system.- Proposes and drafts improvements to existing contract management procedures.- Assists the GeoUnit Contracts Manager when required, including the processing of internal Exception or Exemption.- Generates contracts-related reports and reviews on a regular and ad-hoc basis.- Maintains the Contracts and tender files.- Participates in presentations and workshops on Schlumberger CCRS/CIE when requested.- Collaborates with the Legal Function in the performance of Operations Assurance Reviews when requested.- Along with the Contract Owner and Contracts Manager, actively participates in all aspects of CME/CIE post-award contract management including (but not limited to) post-award contract reviews, mid-term contract reviews, etc.**Education**- Law Degree qualification from reputable university.- Paralegal training or certification, as appropriate.**Experience**Minimum 7 years work experience ideally in the Oil & Gas industry, including at least 1 year experience in Contracts, Marketing or Legal Departments and Law Firms.**Reporting To**Direct & Functional: GeoUnit Contracts Manager.SLB is an equal employment opportunity employer.
