**Key Responsibilities**
- This is a "Single Contributor" role.
- Overseeing and managing all legal matters within an organization, and you will be sitting at the corporate/holding level, managing multiple business units they own.
- Able to: (a) Develop and implement the organization's legal strategy to be aligned with the business focus, (b) Provide strategic legal advice to the executive team members and owners on strategic decisions, (c) Stay up to date with changes in relevant laws and regulations that will impact the organization.
- Having high expertise in power, energy, and infrastructure.
- Essentially understand and able to utilize international standards to facilitate various contracts, including but not limited to, evergreen warranties and incoterms).
- Having other expertise in, among others: (a) Identifying and managing legal risks and developing strategies to mitigate potential liabilities, (b) Collaborating with external counsels when necessary. At times, you are expected to work closely with other professionals, (c) Provide advice to the executive team members and board of directors on corporate governance matters and ensure compliance with the corporate governance, (d) Conduct thorough legal due diligence on companies - includes reviewing contracts, financial statements, litigation history - identifying any potential risks - when required, (e) Handling cross-border trade, investments and understanding regulatory compliance outside Indonesia - when required, and (f) Providing advice in structuring, and negotiating transactions, including M&A, joint ventures, and strategic alliances.
**Key Requirements**
- Having at least **7** **years of experience**.
- Has a PERADI License.
- **MUST** **have** **high-level maturity skills** in providing strategic legal advice to the executive team members and owners on strategic decisions - by essentially having strong lawyering skills and negotiation skills with them.
- **Desirable** is experienced in the power, energy and/or infrastructure sectors. Especially where you have represented a company from the supplier side.
- Has extensive experience and knowledge in the legal sector, especially in handling **Operation Business** **of Power / Energy company + complex M&A transactions**.
- **MUST** essentially understand and experience the utilization of international standards to facilitate various contracts, including but not limited to, evergreen warranties and incoterms).
- Able to put a business hat on when it comes to problem-solving and counsel company problems.
- Understand the main **litigation** pillar.
- **English fluency**.
- Active, strong communication skills, and strong ability to withstand pressure.
- Experience in working with family-owned business companies would be a plus point.
