**Country Sourcing Manager, Origination**:
**Country Sourcing Manager, Origination - Your next position?
**

As the Country Sourcing Manager, Origination you will be mainly responsible to manage collection network within country according to a global plan, maintain supply chain sustainability at each level by best utilizing support functions (agronomist, ops).
Support innovation process to identify new botanical species of interest for our perfumers and flavorists, in order to secure the supply of natural products according to company's needs and within company's strategies and local policies.
In this role you will be based in Depok, Cilodong Indonesia and directly report to the Head of Origination - APAC.
**In this position you will**:
**Supply Chain Sustainability & Efficiency**:

- Working with supporting functions to continuously improve current supply chain visibility, traceability and sustainability processes.
- Drive and align the field operations and sourced ingredients' quality with company's policies, processes and procedures.
- Drive crude collection and agreements with farmers, distillers and collectors encompassing price, quality and sustainability requirements
- Ensure agreements with farmers/distillers encompass sustainability dimension: for example reforestation program through the setup of adequate nurseries
- Ensure sourcing tool and data collection in place for all field sourcing activities.
Ensure I-Source "procure to pay" process is accurate, transparent and auditable.
- Maintain competitive sourcing price and practices vs market.
- Drive cost improvements and lead innovative practices across the ingredient's supply chain.
**Partnership Management**:

- Collaborate with local authorities in order to obtain appropriate support and alignment for the sourcing initiatives and make them a partner in Givaudan endeavours.
- Work with local research institute on establishing innovative and sustainable field and distillation practices
- Manage relationship with our local partner (collection network) in order to align the strategy.
- Support Head of Region on necessary local initiatives to ensure full success of the partnership in place (set up of groups/co-operatives, creation of new distilleries, financing of new schools etc.)
**Market Intelligence**:

- Measure collection performance vs market and costs vs budget on assigned ingredient and projects.
- Provide market intelligence and maintain price benchmark on our competitors for our current origination ingredients.
- Provide market intelligence on new or other commonly sourced ingredients in the community we operate.
**People Management**:

- Hire, train and manage field buyers and partners in field
- Ensure global understanding and compliance of systems and tools to all stakeholders

**Your professional profile includes**:

- Bachelor's degree in Forestry or Agronomy preferred
- Bachelor's degree Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical) can be considered
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in procurement managing products and suppliers
- Some experience on natural product's sourcing
- Experience in working local authorities
- Proficient in Local language (Bahasa Indonesia).
- Able to handle spoken and written communication in English (Intermediate to Advanced level)
- Strong analytical skills
- Construct/execute multiple complex analyses (e.g.
TCO, NPV)
- Capacity to accurately predict/anticipate market trends
- Ability to develop actionable recommendations and implementation plans in clear, compelling, effective way
- System and data management skills; especially Excel and SAP Procurement modules & related systems
- Draft Contracts (Supply, Training, Technology)
- Management skills, with emphasis on people management
