Hijra (previously known as the ALAMI Group) is a financial technology company that follows sharia principles. It was founded in 2018 by Dima Djani, Harza Sandityo, and Bembi Juniar. The company offers a range of services, including a peer-to-peer lending platform, mobile banking app, and mortgage all of which are based on sharia principles.

The company's goal is to provide convenient, fair, and transparent access to sharia financing for the Muslim community and to support them on their journey to a more meaningful and impactful life.
Design, build, and maintain data platforms (data warehouses, dashboard/reporting platforms, etc).
Design and develop data pipelines with various data sources.
Ensure data quality and data integrity, identify opportunities for data acquisition, analyze, and organize raw data.
Write and review technical documents including design and development documents.
Work closely with the product and engineering teams to ensure data ecosystem quality.
**Level**: Early mid-level, with a minimum of 1 year of experience.
**Working knowledge of SQL**: Proficiency in SQL is necessary for effective data manipulation, extraction, and analysis.
**Working knowledge of Python**: Python is widely used in our data engineering workflows, so proficiency in Python is essential.
**Working knowledge of git**: Version control is critical to our data engineering practices, and familiarity with git is required.
In addition to the compulsory requirements, the following optional qualifications would be advantageous:
**Experience working with Apache Airflow**: Since we rely heavily on Apache Airflow for our workflow orchestration, prior experience working with Airflow would be valuable.
**Experience working with dbt (data build tool)**: Familiarity with dbt, the data build tool, would provide an added advantage in streamlining our data engineering processes.
