Global Risk is a thriving and expert risk management function supporting HSBC globally with all aspects of risk management. The team actively manages a varied and dynamic range of risk types, including security, fraud, information security, contingency, geopolitical, operational, credit, pension, insurance, financial crime and regulatory compliance, market and reputation risks. All parts of the Global Risk team use their skills, insight and integrity to handle established threats and those they see emerging, acting to protect and enable HSBC to deliver sustainable growth.
We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this team in the role of **Data Privacy Specialist.**
**Responsibilities**:
Job Holder will be responsible to support HSBC journey to comply with Indonesia Personal Data Protection Law and all respective regulations. The person will lead the implementation project while strive as the advisor for activities that should be delivered. The job holder should lead the process to identify gaps and remediate gaps, while provide the expected design of the Target Operating Model. The job holder has to set out the rolling out and communication around the PDP Law in HSBC.
Qualifications
**To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements**:
- Understand current state of the PDP law and all respective regulations that related to Data Privacy.
- Has a senior level of experience around data management, data risk management or legal risk.
- Ability to deliver a detail-focused approach to recommend and implement strategic improvements on a range of data privacy and data protection issues.
- Proven ability to establish and maintain a high degree of confidentiality, respect, trust and credibility at all levels;
- Experience in communicating, interacting and maintaining good working relationships with supervisory authorities;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Well-developed and professional interpersonal skills; ability to interact effectively with people at all organisational levels;
- Ability to work unsupervised, exercise leadership, lead massive project that involve various stakeholders and influence change;
- Ability to use independent judgement and discretion when making the majority of decisions;
- Willing to work under project in contractual basis for 6 months period
