**Position**:
We are seeking a Senior Behaviour Change Officer for Bersih Indonesia program in Kabupaten Malang, who is experienced in designing and guiding programs that inspire whole communities to form new, healthier habits.

Bersih Indonesia is funded and led by Alliance to End Plastic Waste (AEPW), and supported by Indonesia Coordinating Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Investment to pioneer a self-sustaining and commercially viable system that could take the country significantly closer to its goal of achieving net-zero leakage by 2040. The program aims to introduce waste management systems to communities who often have never experienced a waste system before. This involves inspiring four significant behaviour changes within communities - (1) to stop burning or dumping their waste, (2) to use the new door-to-door waste service, (3) to pay a nominal fee which covers waste collection costs and (4) to separate their waste into organic and non-organic fractions.

This Officer's role will be creating a holistic approach to achieve these behaviours, guide the city or regency in enacting and tracking results of the approach, and ultimately building the local government's staff capacity to continue the behaviour change work for years to come. We are working with larger and larger communities and need innovative thinkers to experiment with different techniques to inspire hundreds of thousands of people quickly.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Design & Planning
- Lead data collection process in targeted areas when needed to inform behaviour change strategy, messaging, and evaluation
- Develop an integrated behaviour change campaigns plan to support new waste system rollout. This include, but not limited to, community meetings, door-to-door campaign, media campaigns, and advocacy within educational system. The plan should include budget, human resources, action plans, timelines, and monitoring.
- Build and manage partnerships across various sectors, especially with the relevant Malang regency government agencies. This involves a strong focus on networking, partnership development, and mobilizing support from a wide range of stakeholders to enhance waste management initiatives
- Work with AEPW's and Malang regency government's communications team to build memorable campaign assets (e.g., social media, videos, posters, contests, radio spots, jingle songs, etc.)

2. Execution & Capacity Building
- Lead a team of experts and field facilitators to execute behaviour change campaigns, such as influencer training, community meetings, door-to-door education, and school events
- Monitor the impact of your campaigns and continually experiment until you find a formula that works well
- Build capacity of Malang regency government staff to run their own impactful behaviour change work in the future
- Develop a system to institutionalise behaviour change actions with the local government which can sustainably run behaviour change campaigns long term
- Potentially advise other units of government - national, regional, and local - on impactful, sustainable approaches to behaviour change

3. Analytical Works
- Support team to perform problem solving and provide recommendations for best solution to improve campaign execution and behaviour change impact
- Compile data and conduct simple quantitative analysis (example: Excel) to generate insights for the program
- Review and analyze various data sets and narratives to develop impactful stories, this may involve extracting key insights and synthesizing t
