Digital Engineer

You are:- Designer who understand how the business operates, what information will be required for the operation, and structure the information into data model that is consumeable by your user- Optimiser who understand how the machine and data operates, able to spot area of optimisation, and breakdown the steps into your development plan- Curious fellow who not only knows how run the model but also understands how it behaves behind the scene- Innovative problem solver who craves for that extra adrenaline in thinking on ways to crack that particular problem- Has the integrity and pride in your work to deliver your best solutionYour Experience:- Have a bachelor degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related disciplines.- 1 - 3 years experience in consulting or delivering digital and/or analytics projects- Strong fluency in Python, Java, or similar language- Strong experience with Shell Scripting, SQL, HiveQL, data transformation, and ETL/ELT- Knowledge of data modelling strategy: star schema, snowflake schema, fact and dimension table, SCD, bridge tables, degenerate dimension, etc.- Experience in big data platform such as Hortonworks, MapR, Cloudera, Hive, HBase, and relational database such as Mariadb, SQL Server, MySQL, or similar- Experience with ETL pipeline tools such as Sqoop, Talend, SSIS, Kafka, Spark, or similar- Experience working with Windows and Linux/Unix based operating systems- Exposure to DevOps technology, such as Git, Airflow, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Splunk, Sentry or similar- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information and business insights across project teams and stakeholders with attention to detail and accuracy- Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills in English- Having knowledge of supply chain, manufacturing, IoT, or agribusiness might benefit you- Having knowledge of web or mobile app development might benefit you- Having knowledge of Javascript framework: ReactJS, AngularJS, or similar might benefit you- Having knowledge of Business Intelligence and Data visualization tools might benefit you"Our company has never levied any fees for the recruitment process nor has it required to order tickets and accommodation through a certain travel agent or certain person"
