Our clients are primarily major multinationals, along with various business associations and non-governmental organizations.POSITION
The Director will work closely with senior leadership on developing and executing Government Affairs strategies for the firm's multinational clients to achieve their business objectives - and support Indonesia's economic growth and development – in the technology, healthcare, fast moving consumer goods, and energy sectors.You're a consummate networker, skilled analyst, insightful client manager and organised project manager, and possess strong EQ, business acumen, and cross-cultural skills. You'll focus on strengthening and growing the firm's government affairs practice in Indonesia – raising the profile of the firm and our clients with key stakeholders and building out relationships in Indonesia's public and private spheres – as well as managing and developing a team of consultants.Conversant and confident in communicating public policy and engagement strategies to clients, you will interact with regional and global executives and build firm market share. You'll keep a close eye on legislative and policy changes that could impact the firm's clients, assess challenges and opportunities, and lead research and strategic engagement on policy issues. You'll also prepare and deliver written and verbal analysis and strategy for clients and provide astute analysis of political developments and trends, and how these impact our clients.QUALIFICATIONS
• Fifteen years (minimum) of relevant work experience in a related field, either in a consulting or in-house government affairs role, or in government, journalism, or think tanks.
• Proven experience and expertise in Government Affairs and Public Policy.• Strong network of contacts in the government and public policy sphere, along with an expert
understanding of politics and bureaucracy in Indonesia.• Experience managing and developing a team.• Excellent project and office management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.• Cross-culturally aware, sensitive to cultural norms and government protocol.• Motivated self-starter, team player, eagerness to contribute to firm's growth.• Fluent Bahasa Indonesia speaker, excellent written and oral communication skills in English.• A relevant undergraduate degree, preferably in political science, international relations,
history, economics, public policy, or law. An advanced degree is a value-add.HOW TO APPLY
