Aon is currently recruiting a Director of Corporate Facultative, Indonesia to join our Aon Reinsurance Brokers Indonesia team in Jakarta.

**The Opportunity**:
Responsible for the management of the business unit and advising the business to ensure effective and profitable operation and growth. Accountable to Indonesia and Regional management for formulation and execution of current and long-term objectives, review and implementing of the business unit's operating plans, policies and operational controls.
**Responsibilities**:
**Leadership & Management**
- Provide overall direction and management for the business unit in Indonesia, ensuring strategies are communicated, cascaded and implemented effectively.
- Direct the operation of the business unit to maintain established cost and quality standards, attain projected revenue and profit levels and achieve client satisfaction goals.
- Fulfill governance functions and ensures that all corporate activities and operations are carried out in compliance with relevant regulations and laws.
- Maintain a positive community image and remains current on local business trends.
- Support and serve our clients in all aspects of their re-insurance placements, ensuring proper clients servicing and the effective management of risk processing, market communication and proper maintenance of business records.
- Display good leadership and staff motivation. Being a great teammate by collaborating and fully support other Units within Aon Indonesia to do the cross selling and other colleagues within the unit to win the new business
- Provide supervision, do appraisal and ensure your subordinate to meet the required performance standards and to share knowledge and experiences with other colleague within Aon Indonesia for the best interest of the Company.
- Act as an intermediary between clients and reinsurance companies
- Able to use various internal resources to complete the tasks for clients
- Proactively lead the team, manage workload distribution, and motivate them by:
- Develop skills and leverage individual strengths across the full team
- Upskill self and team in using innovative problem solving to meet client needs
- Work collaboratively with Aon Indonesia on strategic/project planning and resourcing
- Manage internal and external partner expectations, provide Subject Matter Expertise on complex matters, and call out matters as needed.
**Standardization, Process Efficiency and Advocacy**:
- Establish and Implement Standardization consistent with Aon's Global Standard and Market Best Practice while catering for Territory Specific nuances and Regulatory Requirement
- Undertake data gathering and analysis to:
- implement more efficient work practices and/or cost savings
- identify Market Trends and Insights for better decision making by internal and external partners
- Participate in Global Groups / Projects, ensuring Global Alignment
- Establish and Drive Key Performance Indicators and SLAs while proactively leading the team to ensure accounts are serviced to a high standard and as per set turnaround times
**Skills and experience that will lead to success**:
- Degree in any relevant field
- 5+ years' experience leading teams in the insurance or reinsurance industry
- Strong understanding of reinsurance contracts relating to placement and networking
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, prioritization, and innovative problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English with ability to communicate complex concepts in a simple and effective way
- Logical, analytical, and resourceful mindset, able to exercise flexibility and judgement
- Ability to deliver under pressure in a high intensity and fast paced multinational environment i.e., meet very tight timelines ranging from 1-3-day turnaround
- Ability to maintain positive, professional relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders across numerous territories, demonstrating strong skillset in:
- presentation, leading meetings, defining objectives, and delivering service level agreements
- influencing and negotiating
- working with multiple partners in time critical environments
- Ability to travel when required.
