**Electrical Maintenance Technician**:
**Your main responsibilities are**
- Responsible for safe operations and maintenance of the plant during the designated shift.
- To comply with all safety regulations including isolation, lock out and tag out.
- Responsible for maintaining the machines and auxiliary equipment in good conditions of cleanliness.
- Responsible for starting the local and remote engines and synchronising them.
- Presenting immediate solutions of protection of the equipment in cases of possible flaws.
- Assist Maintenance Supervisor as required.
- Coach other technicians and general labour.
- Resolve abnormalities that occur in the DC system of the plant.
- Inspect engines electrical systems of the engines, auxiliary equipment and other existent equipment in the plant to detect electrical faults and take the necessary steps for the prevention and correction of the referred abnormalities.
- Carry out corrective inspections of all electrical equipment and supervision of the engines.
- Be able to identify and locate all existing sensors and transmitters of pressure and temperature of the engines and their auxiliary equipment, knowing how to test them and to substitute them if necessary.
- Be able to identify and correct abnormalities that occur to the excitation systems of the engines as well as the test the protection and supervision equipment of these excitation systems
**You will shine in this role when you have**:
- Minimum educational background Diploma in Engineering / Bachelor degree.
- Have experience in electrical maintenance Diesel Power plant.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and components, including AC/DC motors, generators, relays, PLCs, and control systems.
- Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools, meters, and testing equipment to troubleshoot electrical problems accurately.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Willing stay in site Timika, Papua
