**Position Summary**:
- Johnson & Johnson is recruiting an Employee & Labor Relations Lead based in Indonesia
- Employee & Labor Relations (ER/LR) Lead has overall responsibility to lead delivery of Employee Relations and Labor Relations Services. The ER/LR Lead is responsible for the effective management of Employee Relations matters (grievances, discipline, conflict resolution) measured by resolution of service requests within defined time periods, levels of accuracy and quality standards. The ER/LR Lead provides overall Labor Relations support including but not limited to building positive relationship with Labor authorities and managing labor risks. The ER/LR Lead will drive proactive initiatives to increase ER/LR awareness with employees, ER/LR capability with Managers and will support any ad hoc workforce events (M&A, Divestitures, restructuring etc.) requiring ER or LR involvement.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provides day-to-day support, advice and counsel to business leaders and people managers on all labor and employee relations' matters including HR policies/agreement interpretation, grievance resolution, discipline management, workforce events and other related labor and employment matters.
- Conducts investigations for ER/LR workplace relations issues, and Hotline complaints, including providing investigation summary reports and managing the grievance process. Provides guidance to relevant stakeholders on disciplinary matters on non-ER related investigations.
- Coach, Partner with managers on managing performance related issues and providing solutions such as implementing performance management processes. Act as the primary support person for people managers providing direct intervention and "hands on support" in resolving employee performance related issues.
- Provide guidance on Labor Relations Strategy, manages Union relationship and ensure compliance with labor regulations and manage risks. Review and revise HR local country policies aligned with the labor regulations, as needed.
- Deliver employee relations training on appropriate workplace behaviors and performance management programs.
- Provide insights with respect to industry trends about Employee Relations and opportunities. Build an external professional network to maintain an appropriate view of the workplace and marketplace.
- Supports the design, development, and implementation of proactive Employee Relations practices and programs and policies for market or region.
- Works collaboratively with ER/LR cluster and regional leaders to implement regional or global policies or guidelines in country.
**Qualifications**:
- A minimum BA/BS Degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or Law Degree.
- Preferred area of study: Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Law5-10 years HR experience with a minimum of 5 years in Employee and Labor Relations
- Knowledge and understanding of applicable Employment and Labor Relations Laws in Indonesia (preferably also in Malaysia)
- Proven success in establishing relationship especially with Union and collaborating with a virtual team
