Manage and develop a QA/QC management system for engineering design work.
- Prepare a check list and perform inspections of all design engineering work products
- Manage and update all applicable SOPs, technical specifications and engineering standards
- Coordinate across disciplines to ensure that jobs can be performed properly and efficiently
- Check and provide input in the preparation of the Project Proposal in accordance with the capability, resources and request from the project owner.
- Manage and prepare an activity plan and work schedule in accordance with the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
- Reviewing the work of the engineering team and providing recommendations and solutions to existing technical problems
- Monitor the progress of the implementation of engineering design, analysis, Quantity Survey, Reporting and identify potential delays or deviations from applicable standards and regulations
- anaging, controlling and ensuring the quality of all engineering work is in accordance with standards, applicable regulations, on time and meets the requirements of the project owner (fit for purpose)
- Manage and conduct inspections during planning, project execution and project commissioning.
- Familiar with designing mining infrastructure and facilities such as: roads/bridge /jetty/ fuel tank/ workshops/conveyor etc.
- Min. Bachelor Degree of Civil Engineering.
- Min. 12 years experience in engineering design. Have exposure in marine engineering or hydrology/water management would be an advantage.
- Familiar to operate engineering software: CAD/ SAP2000/ STAAD Pro/ SAFE/ Plaxis and also familiar with MS Project.
- Have related SKA certificate and PII certificate.
- Good strategic thinking, analytical skill, logical thinking and detail oriented.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Good Reporting Skill
- Willing to travel to all sites if necessary.
