**About this role**
As a Environmental Consultant, you are responsible for delivering high quality environmental assessment analysis and documentation for a range of projects including masterplanning and infrastructure projects with guidance from senior team members.
This role will report to Jakarta Planning Leader and project manager to undertake various environmental assessment, monitoring, and management tasks, supporting on technical analysis, surveys, write-ups and presentations, for assigned projects primarily in the Indonesia market, but also for regional projects in ASEAN, as needed.
**What will I do?
**
- Analysis of environmental impacts, including modelling work
- Participating in and coordinating Environmental Impact Assessment studies (AMDAL) to conform with Ministry of Environment requirements and / or international standards;
- Involvement in stakeholder engagement and coordination of technical specialists and sub-consultants inputs, environmental and social due diligence
- Supporting senior staff in presentations and meetings with clients and stakeholders
- Providing support in delivery of Environmentally Sustainable Design (ESD) and relevant environmental inputs in Resettlement Action Plan preparation if required
**What will I bring?
**
- Degree in Environmental Management / Science / Engineering; Civil Engineering or Urban Planning degrees with environmental components; post graduate studies with at least 3 years of experience as an environmental consultant supporting and undertaking environmental impact assessments (AMDAL) and environmental consulting for master planning and or infrastructure projects will be an advantage
- Experience in supporting stakeholder engagement including public engagement
- Excellent technical writing, analytical skills
- Working knowledge of relevant environmental legislation, regulations, codes of practice and guidelines in Indonesia
- Ability to demonstrate an understanding of the wider institutional and policy context for climate and environment
