**Description**:

**Responsibilities**:
- Work with multi-disciplinary teams to undertake projects related to environmental and social impact assessments as well as provide environmental and social due diligence in compliance with national and international standards, and other quality-driven environmental studies.
- Assist the PM and other specialists in the preparation of proposals and implementation of projects, which includes compiling materials for proposal development, working with the marketing officer to prepare CVs, collecting various pertinent information as advised by the PM, compiling field data and analysis, and supporting report development within a variety of projects in the Infrastructure and Extractives sectors.
- Assist the PM and other specialists in project preparation which includes work plans, schedules, budgets, technical activities, and coordination of technical staff and sub-consultants to ensure efficient use of corporate resources, plus the preparation and editing of documents (proposals, reports, and geomatic outputs).
- Implement the process of QA/QC within all project steps (data quality, preparing work plan, data compilation, literature review) to meet the project scope of work and PTHI standards.
- Responsible for prioritizing occupational safety & health, security, and being environmentally friendly.
- Carry out tasks the project manager assigns with high standards and efficiency.
- Think innovatively, effectively, and critically to provide optimal work results.
- Work in multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams to undertake impact assessments, due diligence projects, and other environmental studies.
**Education and Experience**:
- B.Sc. in environmental management or another relevant field of study, or equivalent post-secondary education. A Master's degree from a reputable university is an advantage.
- Minimum one year of experience with projects related to environmental, social, and health impact assessments (ESHIA), environmental and social due diligence (ESDD), environmental management and mitigation, preferably in a consulting environment and with a demonstrated track record of increasing responsibilities.
- Experience with national regulations regarding environmental impact assessments and environmental permitting.
- Background in implementing projects that comply with international standards/safeguards, (i.e., International Finance Corporation (IFC) Performance Standards and World Bank Environmental and Social Framework.)
- Experience working in a dynamic consulting environment that requires flexibility and teamwork and an ability/interest to work in the field, occasionally in remote locations for extended periods.
