Summary
- To conduct all selling activities and to communicate these activities throughout the hotel.
- To create and maintain a database of local, national and international group, catering and conference leads and ensure implementation of appropriate sales development and acquisition activities.
- To make sure that all the sales proposals, collateral, digital tools, and other sales communications are in line with the hotel's and HI's brand standards, and up to date in terms of information.
- To be aware of community, business, political and social factors that may affect the hotel's financial performance.
- To follow the established hotel policies and procedures when signing contracts on behalf of the Sales Department.
- Actively participate in sales meetings, developing and adjusting sales account and pricing strategy.
- To ensure that the best use is made of technology including Envision or other sales and catering systems and that data is clean.
- To entertain existing and potential customers and ensure that other Sales personnel entertain customers based on business priorities.
- To assist in creating a high level of exposure for the hotel through direct sales solicitation, telephone contact and written communication.
- To work closely with other management personnel in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the hotel and the satisfaction of hotel guests.
- To make sure that other Sales associates work in a supportive and flexible manner with other departments, in a spirit of "We work through Teams".
- To ensure all hotel advertising and collateral are of consistent well communicated by the sales team to our target and clients delivered as Park Hyatt's brand standards.
- To recommend implementing some sales promotions, with external partners such as credit card companies, luxury brand, banks, department stores, airlines, etc. to support the advertising and sales campaigns.
- Approaches work with a sense of urgency and purpose.
- Allocates time and resources effectively when faced with competing demands.
- Overcomes obstacles to accomplish challenging objectives.
- To be flexible in your job function and perform any other reasonable duties and responsibilities which may be assigned to you, including redeployment to other departments/areas if required, in order to meet business demands and guest service needs.
**Qualifications**:
- Indonesian Nationality with a degree in Hospitality or Business Management
- Has minimum 1 (one) year experience in a similar position in 5 (five) stars International Hotel Chain
- Previous experience in Luxury Hotel or international experience are advantages
- Strong in leadership and business acumen
- Excellent English communication skills, strong guest service mindset and people management & development skills
