This position performs more than administrative tasks; it is often the executive's "right-hand person" who enables them to advance company initiatives and goals. The chosen applicant will filter and attend to the day-to-day functions that are part of the executive's role so that the executive can focus on the high-level leadership and strategy functions.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Manage scheduling
- Draft, review and send communications on behalf of the company executive
- Organize and prepare for meetings, including gathering documents and attending to logistics of meetings
- Manage finances and budget related to the company executive's spending and allowances
- Answer and respond to phone calls, communicate messages and information to the executive
- Assistance with business expansion activities
- Coordinate travel arrangements
- Maintain various records and documents for company executive
**SKILL AND QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent English and Chinese proficiency is mandatory
- Time-management skills
- Ability to pay attention to detail
- Organization skills
- Ability to multitask
- Basic understanding of frequently used computer software and programs, such as Microsoft Office
- Interpersonal skills
**EDUCATION BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE**:
- Bachelor Degree and/or Master's Degree in Economics or Business Administration is preferred. However, High School graduate with at least five years of experience in a service or secretarial background is highly encouraged
- At least two year of experience in the Coal Mining and/or Energy Industry is an added value
