Executive Assistant

Major duties
- To gain understanding of the business model, process flow and business operations of Golden-Agri Maritime.
- To calculate laytime and demurrage while ensuring proper and timely submission of laytime calculation to GAI and Third Party.
- To monitor settlement of recovering aging debt and chase counterparties in respect of overdue claims.
- To assist operations and claims department in generating payment request form for settling invoices.
- To Submit Charterer Limited Liabilities Declaration to insurance broker on timely manner in order to ensure all our vessel are covered by insurance during charter period.
- To conduct Carbon Tracking and prepare Carbon Tracking Report for submission to Sea Cargo Charter.
- To support chartering on tracking of competitors' vessels in order for chartering to be aware of competitor cargo movements.
- To generate Port Performance report on quarterly basis by evaluating vessel timing in port.
- To support accounts on data entry and assist in keeping a track of receipts and payments.
- To assist CEO on adhoc projects as and when needed.

Specific skills, experience required
- At least one to two years of working experience preferably in Tanker segment.
- Able to gather and manage data sets from different sources, develop reports and well verse in using tools such as Excel.
- Strong sense of initiative to independently seek out information.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- A high level of fluency in English language, both written and spoken is required. Others such as Mandarin will also be an advantage.
