Essential Duties: Represent Capella Ubud, Bali and the brand of Capella with integrity, natural charisma and confidence. Maximizes guest satisfaction with food by providing the highest quality of product consistent with cost guidelines by supervising the operation of the kitchen.Meets and exceeds customer expectations by ensuring the department provides "Culture and Service Philosophy". and Utilizes leadership skills and motivation techniques in order to maximize a culinary team of 24 colleagues towards productivity and colleague satisfaction. Overseeing all aspect the culinary brigade from Western cuisine, Indonesian cuisine, speciality cuisine, butchery, garde manger, pastry, bakery, Stewarding and purchasing.Maintains safe working conditions within department and Prepares reports, as requested, to develop a more informative database for improved management decision making and critical evaluation of work activities.Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objective of this Maintains a favourable working relationship with all other company colleagues to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate.At all times projects a favourable image of Capella Ubud, Bali to the public.Education Required: College degree or diploma. Desirable: A minimum 3 years of progressive experience in a similar level luxury boutique hotel.International and Asian culinary experience.
