The duties: Research and stay abreast of aesthetic fabric trends and technological developments Evaluate existing and future fabric suppliers Build a library within the office of fabrics for the design team to view Coordinate and negotiate with vendors for price, quality, quantity, develop procurement plans and formulate sourcing strategies Maintain the standard and quality of raw materials and develop quality standard manual Responsible for sourcing apparel fabrics across woven, knit jersey Guide fabric mills to offer Fabric Development, special for new fabrics Travel to visit mills for fabric sourcing & development.
