Purpose of Role:
The Fabrication Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the fabrication department, ensuring that production targets are met, quality standards are maintained, and safety protocols are strictly followed. This role involves managing a team of fabricators, coordinating with other departments, and optimizing production processes to enhance efficiency and productivity

Key Responsibilities:
- Focus Area:
Supervision and Leadership
- Manage and lead a team of fabricators, welders, and other production staff.
- Assign tasks and monitor work performance to ensure adherence to quality standards and production schedules.
- Provide training, support, and performance feedback to team members.
- Foster a positive work environment and address any personnel issues promptly.
Production Management
- Plan and schedule production activities to meet customer demands and deadlines.
- Monitor the workflow and adjust resources as needed to maintain optimal production efficiency.
- Ensure the proper use and maintenance of fabrication equipment and tools.
Coordinate with other departments such as design, engineering, and quality assurance to ensure smooth production operations
Quality Control
- Implement and enforce quality control procedures and standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of products to ensure they meet specifications and quality requirements.
Address and resolve any quality issues or defects in a timely manner
Continuous Improvement
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and encourage team involvement in these activities.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and technological advancements in fabrication.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
- Education:
- associate or bachelor's degree in manufacturing, engineering, or mining and oil and gas industry
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in fabrication or a related field, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of fabrication processes, equipment, and materials.
- Skills:
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Knowledge of quality control standards and safety regulations.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, which may involve standing for long periods, lifting heavy objects, and exposure to loud noises and machinery
