As a Field Service Engineer at SPM Oil and Gas, you will be responsible for the delivery, installation, troubleshooting, testing, and repair of Wellheads and Christmas Trees equipment on customer location. The Field Service Engineer is a skilled, experienced technician with the ability to perform most tasks independently, while seeking guidance or training for more critical tasks.
As the Field Service Engineer, you will: Active participation in Hazard Report and Conversation Report submission as per EHS (Environment Health and Safety) Objectives.
Prepare JSAs (Job Safety Analysis) and POWRAs (Point of Work Risk Assessment) on the job site and perform all duties in a safe manner and in accordance with SPM Oil and Gas EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) policies.
Adhere to and exercise Stop Work Authority and Management of Change.
Safely install, remove, repair and service equipment on a drilling rig or well site.
Provide superior customer service to all internal and external customers.
Provides technical expertise and direction to rig crews and well site supervisors, as well as third party providers when needed.
Maintain SPM Oil and Gas company supplied assets and any other equipment, including site specific equipment, as it relates to company policy.
Prepare accurate field service report, time sheet, any field non-conformance report, and end of well report in an organized, legible manner, in addition to any other documentation necessary.
Promote and represent SPM Oil and Gas in field service and sales.
Always maintain a professional appearance and work attitude.
Pre-check all equipment and processes prior to starting the job to ensure all equipment is operable and complete.
Must have the ability to perform independently or in a team setting.
Willing to be available on 24-hour call to respond to customer needs.
Communicate effectively, both verbally and written.
Willing to operate company vehicle to commute to site, if required.
Responsible to maintain in possession the latest manual procedure for the assigned job, and adhere to it.
Ensure all paperwork and permits to go offshore is valid and maintained.
Attend Customer's organized Drill Well on Paper or meeting invited by Customer, if necessary.
Perform equipment or part stock count or inventory, if required.
Performs other duties as assigned.
The successful candidate must bring: Good proficiency in English.
1 to 2 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be authorized to operate a company vehicle.

Physical Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation): This job requires extensive active movement throughout the plant including climbing stairs and steps, lifting devices, and pushing and pulling equipment.
Additional Information Working Schedule: You will work on-call or if required in manufacturing shop-floor environment.
Work location: Balikpapan, Kalimantan Timur.
