The Manager - Finance & Accounting is a sparring partner to the management of a functional department and is responsible for ensuring distributor profitability is transparent, enforcement internal control and compliance across the region. He/She plays an important role in supporting the achievement of the company goals and strategic decision-making process by making sure compliance with relevant laws and company rules.
- The Manager - Finance & Accounting manages the forecasting and budgeting process of the full Profit & Loss (P&L) and Balance Sheet (B&S).
**You Role**:
- Responsible in ensuring that the financial and accounting policies are accurate, well documented, consistently applied in the organization and in conformity with applicable accounting standards.
- Responsible for controlling of both accounting and management reports, P&L and BS (AP and AR).
- Actively involve stakeholders throughout the business to ensure financial management responsibilities are understood and financial goals are exceeded.
- Advise management from a business control perspective and able to link financial reports to company strategy.
- Analyze profitability, interpret financial information to management while recommending further course of action.
- Manage profitability improvement projects such as portfolio rationalization, cost control, price increases, etc.
- Ensure compliance to company policies and procedures (internal and external audits) and JSOX requirements.
- Support the Regional Business Controller in onsite inspection to ensure company rules and policies are complied.
- Assist in any other finance and accounting tasks, if and when required, such as consolidation and reporting to Omron Headquarters.
**Requirement**
- Master's degree in Financial and/or Accounting management
- 7-10 years of working experience
- Proven skills in process and compliance management
- Proven reporting and analytical skills
- Knowledge of relevant ERP systems (JD Edwards)
- Proficient in the English language, both written and verbal
- Excellent and effective communication skills.
- Have experience in handling corporate tax.
- IT skill and literacy: Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Travelling requirements: as & when required
