Finance And Accounting Manager

**Position Summary**:
Responsible for directly managing Alterra's financial operations and accounting excellence by ensuring the accounting & finance team's daily operations and reporting procedures are executed according to the generally accepted accounting principles, internal SOP, and industry-specific rules.

**Area of Responsibility**:
Finance Operations Management and Reliable Reporting
- Manage, directs, and review the work of the Accounting and Finance Operations team members.
- Responsible for the completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of bookkeeping and financial reporting processes to ensure quality financial reporting.
- Evaluate and provide financial and accounting policies & procedures, including continuous improvements by using technology in the overall financial operation reporting process.

Financial Control
- Lead financial reporting functions to support financial operations, including implementation of policies and procedures to meet the organization's short-term and medium-term business objectives.
- Monitor cash liquidity and cash flow

Finance Process Improvement, Business Partnering, and Insights
- Provide timely and high-quality explanations on key financial indicators based on the business results, as well as provide recommendations on actions to be taken to improve the business outlook
- Analyze and interpret financial trends requiring management's attention, raise concerns to management and other divisions via appropriate channels
- Evaluate ad hoc projects for the transformation and change of processes and support any changes in business models and types

**Position Requirements**:

- Min. Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Accounting
- At least 5-7 year(s) of relevant cumulative working experience in operational accounting roles is required for this position, prior experience in the Big 4 is an advantage.
- Knowledge in consolidation accounting and reporting is an advantage.
- Computer literacy and ability to process large amounts of data.
- Prior exposure to ERP systems is a plus.
- Proven knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
- Problem-solving skills,e.g., strategic thinking, analytical thinking, and attention to detail, and mindset
- Understanding of accounting, financial analysis, and reporting, regulations, and taxation.
- Communication skills, including verbal communication, report writing, and presentation skills.
