Act as a strategic advisor, who collaborates with various departments within a business to provide financial analysis, insights, and recommendations to support decision-making and drive financial performance.
**Job Description**:
- Business Partnering (Finance): Building strong relationships and acting as a trusted advisor to assigned department, proactively engaging with them to understand their financial needs and providing support and guidance.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Monitoring and reporting on key financial and operational KPIs, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Financial Insights and Decision Support: Providing financial analysis and insights to support business decisions, such as investment opportunities, pricing strategies, cost optimization, and business performance improvement initiatives.
- Financial Governance and Compliance: Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal policies. Implementing financial controls and processes to mitigate risks and promote financial accuracy and transparency.
- Forecasting and Budgeting: Collaborating with department heads to develop annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis, providing insights into financial performance and making recommendations for improving financial results.
- Cost Analysis and Optimization: Conducting cost analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements. Working with department heads to develop cost reduction initiatives.
- Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness in financial operations.
Job Requirements:
- Proven prior experience as Finance Business Partner
- Experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and financial modeling.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of key drivers of financial performance.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in financial management systems and tools.
- Knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax laws.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Proactive approach and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with industry trends and best practices in finance.
