What you'll do:
As a Finance Controller, your role will be pivotal in shaping the financial future of the organisation. You will be responsible for developing a robust financial system that supports strategic decision-making. Your expertise in managing ERP software will ensure accurate data management across all business functions. Leading a dedicated finance team, you will foster talent development through regular performance reviews and constructive feedback. Your ability to coordinate budgets, forecasts, and variance reports will be crucial in aligning the company's financial operations with its goals. Compliance with local laws, tax provisions, industry regulations, and financial standards will fall under your purview. Additionally, you will liaise with external auditors for various audits.
Develop and maintain a transparent financial and accounting system, including thorough analysis and reporting.
Manage the ERP software, leading the transition process and ensuring database accuracy and reliability.
Create financial data analyses and models to support decision-making for the company and shareholders.
Build and lead a strong finance and accounting team, conducting bi-annual performance reviews, offering feedback, and identifying opportunities for talent development.
Coordinate and prepare budgets, financial forecasts, and variance reports.
Monitor and manage cash flow, preparing weekly forecasts to ensure smooth financial operations.
Maintain compliance with local laws, tax provisions, industry regulations, and financial standards.
Liaise with external auditors for financial, compliance, and tax audits.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Finance Controller position brings excellent English communication skills along with strong knowledge of PSAK (Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards). Your proficiency in accounting software and experience in preparing financial statements will be key to your success in this role. You should have the ability to develop financial dashboards and visualizations, and be familiar with problem-solving methodologies. A proven track record as a Finance Manager and a degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field is essential.
Excellent English communication skills.
Strong knowledge of PSAK (Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards).
Proficiency in accurate accounting software.
Experience 12 years in preparing financial statements.
Ability to develop financial dashboards and visualizations.
Familiarity with problem-solving methodologies such as DOE, PDCA, DMAIC, 8 step A3, 8D, 5Why, Fishbone diagrams, and Pareto charts.
Analyzing and interpreting provisions under the Tax Regulations Harmonization Law ("HPP Law") and Indonesia Customs Law.
Proven experience as a Finance Manager.
Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
