**Description**
**Mission statement**:
Support Finance CSS Front Office Manager to lead and drive local Common Shared Service (CSS) front office in close cooperation with regional CSS Center to provide cost-efficient and competitive services to the business in line with Group standards and best practices. In addition, support the Country Finance Manager in securing finance related local fiduciary duties, compiling local statutory GAAP books, and other local reporting. Ensure continuous process improvement and a good internal control in accounting and reporting processes.
**Your responsibilities**:
- You will support Finance CSS front office manager to develop and implement strategic plan for the Finance CSS front office and participate in strategic planning as a member of the Country Finance Manager's management team and coordinate preparation and enforces the Finance CSS front office budget. You will guide, motivate, develop and set targets for the Finance CSS front office staff and the Finance CSS front office as a whole.
- You will drive implementation of best practices and continuous optimization of local processes to gain efficiencies and drive productivity gains, harmonization and standardization locally in line with global solutions and best practice and assist in development of global solutions.
- You will manage relationship with business partners to ensure that services are defined and delivered as agreed, develop and maintain Service Level Agreements with business partners, arrange and drive internal customer review meetings on a regular basis and track mutually agreed action plan.
- You will enforce Hitachi Energy's global Accounting Standards, compliance with Hitachi Energy Financial Accounting and Reporting Manuals, local GAAP and Internal Control over Financial Reporting in line with Hitachi Energy control framework, ensure transparency and timeliness in financial reporting, enhance and manage internal control environment, organize and/or support other fiduciary tasks.
- You will ensure internal/external financial audits and other statutory audits are handled with high standards and in a professional manner and the findings are addressed and resolved in a timely way.
- You will lead and supervise Finance CSS front office personnel, ensure (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is organized, staffed, skilled and directed, guide and motivate and develop direct/indirect subordinates within HR Policies.

**Your background**:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in local statutory bookkeeping and reporting.
- Experience in leading or coordinating a team.
- Work experience with a tier 1 or tier 2 audit firm beneficial.
- Solid accounting knowledge, IFRS/local GAAP, as well as ICoFR knowledge.
- Self-motivated, well-organized and structured with strong attention to detail and learning mindset..
