Our first 15-villa project, ADAYA, is sold out, and our second project, Novea, is 50% committed. Currently, we are preparing to launch our next 5,000m² project in March 2024. We are now seeking a skilled Financial Controller to join our dynamic team and manage and control financial operations in Indonesia and support our Hong Kong team.**Responsibilities**:- Develop and implement financial planning strategies to support the company's short-term and long-term goals. Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting to guide decision-making processes.- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and variance analysis. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.- Establish and maintain robust internal control systems to safeguard company assets, mitigate financial risks, and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures. Regularly review and enhance internal control processes.- Monitor and manage cash flow to optimize working capital, support operational needs, and plan for future investments. Implement effective cash management techniques to maximize liquidity and minimize financial risks.- Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, general ledger, and bank reconciliations. Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in all financial transactions.- Collaborate with the executive- and finance team to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives. Provide financial insights, recommendations, and risk assessments to support strategic decision-making.- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, reporting requirements, and other financial obligations in Indonesia and Hong Kong. Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies as necessary.- Build, lead, and mentor a finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Provide guidance, training, and professional development opportunities to enhance the team's capabilities.**Requirements**:- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A master's degree or professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA) is required.- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role, preferably within the property development industry or real estate sector.- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting standards.- Familiarity Indonesian financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements. Knowledge of Hong Kong regulations is a plus.- Proficiency in financial management software and advanced MS Excel skills. Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) is preferred.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex financial information to stakeholders at various levels.- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop a finance team.- Adaptability and flexibility to work in a start-up environment with changing priorities and tight deadlines.Application Question(s):- Describe your experience in managing the financial aspects of a real estate business.
