We are looking for Food & Beverage Manager - Gran Melia Jakarta (Indonesia)
Mission: As a FB Manager you've responsibility for the implementation of strategy, the standards, attributes, products and the optimization of operational efficiency in dining areas, bars and MICE facilities for hotels in their Operations Center (Premium & Essential Brands model). Provides feedback to F&B Partner regarding the needs/opportunities of the OC hotels. a Food and Beverage Manager is to oversee and manage the operations related to food and beverage services in an establishment, typically within the hospitality industry. Their responsibilities often include ensuring high-quality service, optimizing operational efficiency, and contributing to overall customer satisfaction.
Main responsibilities: 1. Report directly to the FB Director or GM
2. Responsible for implementing the F&B strategy in hotels in the Operations Centre through the application of product and quality standards and culinary management. 
3. Analyses the competition and reports on trends and proposes improvements to the F&B Hotel Service Team.
4. Responsible for supervising hotel operations in their area, defining operating guidelines, and supervising the most important or largest events.
5. Follow up on the defined budget, ensure compliance with it, and report any deviations that may occur within the department to the Business Partner. Participate in the definition of the necessary corrective measures to minimise negative impacts and monitor them together with the Business Partner.
6. Periodically, analyse the P&L of their department, review all departmental revenues and expenses, seek to maximise results and identify opportunities for improvement with the support of the Business Partner.
7. Responsible for the implementation of Food Safety Regulations.
8. Participate in the results of HACCP audits (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) and in the case of incidents, supervise the development and implementation of action plans to solve them.
9. Promoting the destination's gastronomy and incorporating local produce.
10. Promote healthy eating and consumption patterns for customers and employees.
11. Be knowledgeable of the Brand philosophy, ensuring optimal implementation of the standards, operations and identity manuals that apply to their department. 
12. To ensure the customer experience, personalising their stay, anticipating their needs and exceeding their expectations. 
13. Manage customer incidents, communicating the actions taken to the hotel's Guest Experience Department.
14. Be knowledgeable of the hotel's services and facilities as well as the entertainment programme, experiences and events, ensuring that the team has all the information to be able to promote them to guests.
Main requirements: 1. A diploma/degree in hotel management or F&B
2. At least 3 years' experience in a similar position in a five-star hotel within Jakarta Previous International luxury hotel experience in Southeast Asia desire
3. Excellent command of Bahasa and English (speaking & writing)
4. The ability to work and communicate in a local and multinational environment
5. Strong leadership, analytical and commercial skills
6. A highly accurate and detail-oriented working method
7. High flexibility and service orientation
8. A pleasant personality and a well-groomed appearance
9. A structured independent, enthusiastic and assertive working style
10. Focus in achieving Team and Individual Target
11. Very Organized & detail-orientated
12. Strong leadership in manage FB Team
13. Leadership, analytical decision-making, and interpersonal capabilities; attention to detail, along with the ability to supervise and work well with a team, are key attributes and competencies sought.
