Key Responsibilities:
- The Food Security & Livelihood Specialist will provide strategic technical and management support to the LH programming portfolio in the National Office, working specifically with area programmes in Indonesia. S/he will work directly with LH area programme staff and operations teams, overseeing the TP budget for the respective zone, and providing technical support for project implementation, monitoring and evaluation. This position will also provide strategic technical support to Livelihood (LH) in emergencies or Response situations if needed. This position responsible for Food Security & Livelihood Specialist. This position will also ensure that quality Livelihoods programming is integrated across the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation processes of Wahana Visi Indonesia's work across all programmes in Indonesia.
- Strategy Development & Planning- Develop detailed implementation plans for the projects, aligned with food security and livelihood programmes, and coordinate their implementation-
- Actively participate in the preparation, conduct and supervision of monitoring and evaluation activities and need assessment surveys within the implementation areas.-

- In emergency or Response situations happening within the zone or cluster area, coordinate LH in emergencies programming, implementation, budget, and quality assurance; share programming data and experiences in the form of reports to grant acquisition staff to secure funding- Capacity Building and Technical Support- Provide technical support to AP staff for food security and livelihood programmes assessment, design, implementation, monitoring, evaluation-
- Coordinate and facilitate Livelihoods orientation and refresher trainings for area programme staff within respective Area Program-
- Support and/or facilitate capacity building of LH area programme staff, including coaching on specific interventions within LH Core Project Models-
- Support Livelihoods competency development for area programme LH staff-
- Contextualise relevant training and teaching materials for LH projects for various stakeholders including community elders, faith leaders, parents and caregivers, and other local partners or volunteers.Accountability & Quality Assurance- Ensure quality implementation of Wahana Visi Indonesia Livelihoods project models in the local area.-
- Ensure the integration of good practices in food security and livelihood project activities in the local area-
- Document and submit timely financial reports, field reports, and periodic progress reports on project activities to immediate supervisor following required reporting guidelinesNetworking & Coordination- Coordinate integration of livelihoods project activities with other sectors' work and ensure the adequate integration of cross-cutting themes (e.g., gender, disability, etc.)-
- Establish effective partnerships with zonal or district level duty bearers, stakeholders, networks, coalitions, or working groups.-
- Represent WVI needed in zonal or district-level economic development networks and coalitions to promote evidence-based LH approaches, ensure local level advocacy actions influence the appropriate decision-making channels, and advance a system strengthening approach to livelihoods-
- If needed in emergency and Response situations, participate actively and regularly in the zonal LH cluster to coordinate WV's economic recovery work alongside other humanitarian actors- Management and Leadership- Seek out and document lessons learned and project success within respective area programmes-
- Facilitate regular reflection and learning activities with LH staff from respective area programmes and other zones/clusters-
- Build and maintain positive spirit of working in team with other staff in respective unit and department.-
- Facilitate in the practice of spiritual discernment and prayer.- Required Professional Experience-
- 5-7 years' work experience in the field of livelihoods and economic development
- Experience working in a complex, international organisation in the NGO/international development context
