**About The Opportunity**
As the Geologist (Technical Specialist), based at our Jakarta office, you will play a vital support role for customers of Micromine Origin. Being at the forefront of client interactions, your work will solidify customer relationships and ensure they are receiving maximum value from our products and services.
Reporting directly to the Product Specialist Team Lead, Indonesia your key responsibilities will include:
- Scoping, configuring, and deploying Micromine Origin for customers.
- Ensuring product enhancement requests, bugs, and development issues are raised and resolved.
- Conducting training with clients and in-house staff (in-person and online).
- BETA testing new versions and products to check improved functionality.
- Supporting the Sales team during technical demonstrations, trade shows, and other events.
**About You**
You are an experienced Geologist with experience working with geology/exploration software (e.g. Micromine Origin, Leapfrog, Vulcan etc.).
Other key skills, experience, and qualifications:
- A tertiary qualification in Earth Sciences, Mining or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in an operational exploration or minin environment
- Fluent in both English and Bahasa, written and spoken.
- Experience with puclic speaking, providing help desk support or conducting demonstrations is preferred but not required.
