For more information please visit our website.**The opportunity**- Jakarta, Indonesia- Reserved for Indonesian nationals- Part-time, up to 40 input days**The Gender Equality and Social Inclusion in Infrastructure (GESIT)**The Gender Equality and Social Inclusion in Infrastructure (GESIT) project seeks to create a better enabling environment by which vulnerable and marginalized community members, including women and people with disabilities, are more actively involved in infrastructure planning and delivery. GESIT involves a collaborative partnership between the Government of Indonesia, civil society, and the broader community, and includes employment and economic empowerment opportunities.GESIT provides small grants and supports capacity development of local civil society organizations (CSOs) and organizations for people with disabilities (OPDs) to undertake gender and social inclusion- focused action research, facilitate community engagement and participation in infrastructure processes. CSOs/OPDs will engage with private sector, undertake community-led monitoring, and run awareness-raising campaigns.
