**GLOBAL LICENSING & ACTIVATION MANAGER (INDONESIA)**
Starlink will provide high-speed broadband to the world. As a member of the Global Licensing and Activation team, you will manage Starlink's activity in Indonesia (and other regional markets), interfacing internally and externally, to enable Starlink to become licensed as an internet service provider and then to bring the country online and maintain its licensing over time so it can serve people and enterprises around the world.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
For Indonesia and other regional markets:
- Develop comprehensive and accurate understanding of telecommunications licensing requirements, timelines, and on-going compliance needs.
- Act as the company's primary regulatory point of contact - fielding questions, representing Starlink in meetings, forums, and other engagements.
- Support and educate internal stakeholders on licensing timeframes and business challenges/opportunities while working collaboratively to achieve company objectives.
- Take complete ownership for the activation of each market post-licensing including but not limited to driving the internal organization to complete necessary steps required to launch a market (entity formation, tax readiness, customs approvals, import/logistics plans, terms and conditions in appropriate format, e-invoicing, payment processor onboarded, website updated, etc.).
- Post-activation, act as a country expert for the business advising on critical matters that can help us meet regulatory requirements, accelerate growth, and scale the business for success. This could include things such as assisting tax and import teams with challenges in the market.
**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Bachelor's degree.
- 5+ years of experience with international business or regulatory affairs.
- Fluent written and verbal communication skills in Bahasa and English.
**PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**:
- 2+ years of experience with licensing telecommunications hardware and/or services.
- Multi-lingual in Malay and/or Tagalog.
- Experience interpreting and negotiating technical requirements.
- Demonstrated success working in an environment with competing priorities and aggressive schedules.
- Ability to define and manage a project independently.
- Ability to receive large amounts of data and distill it into actionable recommendations for the company.
- Knowledge of radiofrequency spectrum technology.
**PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**:
- We will be prioritizing applicants who reside and have a current right to work Indonesia.
- Must be available to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed to support critical milestones or operations shifts.
- Willingness to travel up to (50%).
