General Responsibilities
- Build and manage the accounting and finance team.
- Oversee all financial accounting matters, including maintenance of the general ledger, balance sheet, receipts, payments, and payroll requirements.
- Responsible for overall month-end closing of the factory, including submission of group reporting package in accordance with the group reporting timeline.
- Responsible & accountable to lead business planning and budgeting process and monthly review and forecast of financial performance to ensure strong budgeting control and discipline for the manufacturing operations.
- Create monthly reporting and analysis on manufacturing operation efficiency, rolling forecast and comparison against budget and prior year performance, etc.
- Timely and accurate reporting of the financial data to the General Manager and headquarter of performance KPI's, including make recommendations for management decision.
- Assist management in establishing an effective and sustainable structure of financial management and internal control.
- Responsible for tax planning and reporting.
- Lead, coach, motivate and manage the Finance team in the day-to-day operations.
- Monitor the banking operations, cash and financial management including preparation of cash flow forecast and projections.
- Liaise with external auditor in statutory audit and ensure compliance of all statutory requirements, also responsible liaise with tax agent, legal counsel, Tax Bureau and other related government authorities.
- Perform ad-hoc projects and assignments as required.
- Ensure smooth communication with other departments including Headquarter finance team.
- Provide information and analysis to management and others upon request. Handle various ad hoc projects upon request.
General Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of relevant prior experiences as a Finance Management in Manufacturing industry.
- Degree in Accounting/Finance discipline.
- Qualified accountant (CPA or international equivalent).
- Experience of working in a matrix organization or multi-national company.
- Ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization.
- A proactive individual with strong leadership qualities, planning and organizational skills.
- Self-driven, results-oriented, analytical, mature, confident, competitive and persevering individual.
